From Tarapoto head to the land of the Chacapoyas

an incredible mulchy cloudforest and climb a canopy tower. Boxed lunch. We'll finally
see the sunset in front of Gocta waterfalls, one of the highest in the world, in the
heart of the Peruvian northern Andes. Dinner and overnight at Gocta Andes Lodge.
Day 2 Gocta (B,L,D)
From Gocta Lodge there's an amazing view of the waterfalls, but the trail leading to

crops and orchards and then suddenly you enter a gallery forest. There's the option to
do this trail on horseback. Lunch at the lodge, free afternoon, dinner and overnight.

reach the fortress at 3,000 m.a.s.l. Guided visit to Kuelap archaeological site. Lunch
at the village of Maria. In the afternoon we'll visit the colonial capital of this region,
