Pre night in Ushuaia ,Transfers to/from the ship, cabin accommodation, all meals including daily afternoon tea and complimentary house wine / beverages at lunch and dinner, experienced expedition leader and expedition team, hire of rubber boots,  shore excursions by Zodiac boat, educational presentations, professional photographer on board to assist guests, guided hikes and walks ashore, acess to computers, use of onboard fitness centre, use of library, emergency medical attention on board, Emergency evacuation  insurance.

Vessel: Quark Ocean Adventurer

The Ocean Adventurer is a comfortable vessel with spacious cabins, which all have private bathroom facilities and exterior views. Designed to carry travelers in comfort to the most remote corners of the world, Ocean Adventurer was built in 1976, and underwent extensive upgrades in 2017. This multi-million dollar investment included renovations to the interior of the ship, significant technical upgrades, and the addition of a new cabin category, the Owner’s Suites. The refurbishment gave the ship new bathrooms in every cabin, and upgrades to the Lounge, Dining Room, gym, and suites. Technical enhancements – including two new engines, generators, gear  boxes, drive systems, and re-bladed propellers – resulted in increased fuel efficiency, and a minimized carbon footprint.

The ship accommodates  128 guests and has a staff&crew of 87. Ice Class 1A.Offers  a good range  of  cabins with private facilities, lounge areas,lecture theatre, Gym and medical clinic.

Antarctic Explorer

This trip commences in Ushuaia Argentina where you board your Quark Expedition vessel. Cross the Drake Passage with time for on board lectures to prepare you for visiting Antarctica. Explore the South Shetland Islands and the Antarctic Peninsula and then sail back to Ushuaia
