Tayrona Lost City Hike 5 Nights / 6 Days Day 1 Santa Marta On arrival commence a Tour of Santa Marta, first to San Pedro Alejandrino, the 17th-century hacienda, famous as the site where Simón Bolívar died in 1830. Learn how the military and political revolutionary led Colombia and neighbouring Latin American countries to independence from Spanish rule Accommodation: Hotel Akuamarina Day 2 Lost City Hike (B,L,D) This morning you will be transferred from Santa Marta to Mamey. In Mamey you have a traditional lunch, before you start your hike to the first camp, which you will reach after four hours. The way is about eight kilometres long. After your arrival you have dinner Day 3 Lost City Hike (B,L,D) An early start today hiking to the next camp, close to the river Buritaca, where you can take a bath. Afterwards, you have lunch there. The next part is around 3 hours long, until you reach the Teyuna Paradise. You may take another bath in the river if you wish to and relax a bit, until time for dinner. Day 4 Lost City Hike (B,L,D) Another early start today to reach the lost city. After a stay of 2-3 hours hike back to the last camp. There you can take a last bath in the river and relax Day 5 Lost City Hike (B,L) Today is the last day of the trek! An early start with aprox a 3 hour trek to Mamey, where you arrive to have lunch .Afterwards drive back to Santa Marta Accommodation: Hotel Akuamarina Day 6 Santa Marta (B) You will be transferred to the airport or transfer to the bus station to take a shuttle to Cartagena |
